Beginner to Expert
Coral Sea Islands & Great Barrier Reef
Whoah! Big question. That is seriously difficult to answer…
It depends. WindSwell visits at least three different reef sites near Port Douglas – Low Isles, which has fringing reef that you can walk in off the beach and start snorkelling; Snapper Island, which is a conservation zone and has big drop-offs where the larger fish like to hang out; and Undine and Mackay Coral Cays, which are picture perfect, with soft white sand and a favourite for kite surfing. So, shall we go and try all three?
We’ve got both your backs!
If you want to chill, we can go easy and do a bit of snorkelling, have a lazy breakfast and just watch the waves. Plus, the boat is big enough to sunbathe on while the rest of your party are out exploring the reef.
Or, you can go all out. Get a morning SUP in, jump in to the big blue, explore the bommies and get up close to the marine life and then (if you already know how to) get kitted out and go kite surfing in the afternoon. Pack it in, rinse every minute, it’s your reef tour after all!
We’re flexible, we’ve got the gear to cover all abilities and interests and, if the weather’s with us, it’s heaven out there. Come and experience the reef and islands near to Port Douglas with WindSwell.
